The drawings for Montana deer and elk permits and for nonresident combination licenses are complete and applicants can check their results online. This is the fourth year of the new online application process, which allows Fish, Wildlife & Parks to complete the drawing much faster than in years past. The Sidney Eagles baseball team defeated the Williston JV-1 team with a score of 13-1 on April 16, in Williston. The Eagles scored two in the second inning after a Williston error scored one run and Kayson Radke grounded out, scoring one run. Sidney's softball squad put up a good fight, but the Eagles lost at home against conference foe Glendive, 14-6, on April 16. The pitching of junior Amiya Steinbeisser kept Sidney close as the Eagles trailed by only a 3-0 margin after three innings of play. Richland County track athletes enjoyed success during the Sidney Invitational, which featured more than 600 students, on Saturday. Sidney's boys placed fourth in the team standings with 42 points while Sidney's girls tied for seventh place with 23 points. Williston won both the boys' and girls' titles.
